Tracey Bernett for Colorado Announces Abby Driscoll as new Campaign Manager 

Longmont, CO May 23, 2020— Today, Tracey Bernett for Colorado announced Abby Driscoll as her new Campaign Manager. Abby will oversee Mrs. Bernett’s campaign through the June 30th primary, and onto the General Election November 3rd. 

“I’m delighted to welcome Abby Driscoll to head up my campaign for House District 12 to see us to victory in the June 30th Primary and onto the General Election in November. Abby brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on Democratic campaigns over the last 20 years. In addition, her passion for environmental and social justice issues resonate well with my commitment to build a community focused on giving a leg up to the most vulnerable and fighting climate change,” Bernett said.

Tracey Bernett is a resident of Longmont, CO running for the House District 12 seat. A resident of Longmont for over 24 years, she worked in the construction, alternative energy, aerospace/defense and computer industries before starting her own consulting firm in the computer storage industry. Her years of community service has focused on three passions: environment, education and equity. Tracey was Chairman of the Board of the Butterfly Pavilion, President of Longmont’s OUR Center Board of Director, volunteer environmental policy analyst for State Senators Mike Foote and Faith Winter, and is currently Vice Chair of Sustainable Resilient Longmont. Tracey has a Bachelor of Science with honors from Cornell University and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University. Abby Driscoll is a 20 year Democratic political campaign, legislative and policy veteran. After working for the 2000 Democratic National Convention and the Gore Lieberman Presidential Campaign, Driscoll spent eight years in Washington D.C. Her health policy experience includes serving as a Legislative Aide in the United States Senate. More recently, she has been active at the local level on environmental issues and with the Boulder County Democratic Party. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Fort Lewis College and a Master in Business Administration from The George Washington University. Abby resides in Longmont, CO with her son.
